Can you trust a bass you get from Amazon?
Yes you can. Though you should compare prices.
Spec: Neck-thru. String-thru. Passive. Dual soap bar, V/V/T/T. Black hardware. Gotoh-style sealed tuners. 35" scale, 24 fret. 1 ?" at the nut. Strings spacing 17mm at the bridge. Medium frets. Weight just a tad under 9 lbs. Made in China. These later models do not have the "scooped out area" in the lower wing that is mentioned in some ads. Earlier models were made in Indonisia and are considered to be better quality in general, though I can not find fault with mine.
If you are comparing, this bass is as different in just about every way from what you will find in any Squier.
Some early ad copy described this as boutique quality bass. It's not. It's a decent, nice looking, easy playing, entry level 5'er, and a good platform for mods.
The neck is a maple/mahogany laminate with imbuya (or imbuia) body wings. I've seen it described as mahogany, that is incorrect, at least for these later models...
