If you find it on sale it's a great deal!! THis is a cute toy, its made of plastic. My daughter is 4 and loves it, little girls luv the princess things. Just a heads up to the parents, on some other things you may want to purchase, the guitar does not come with a strap, pick or any type of instructions on how to play. You may want to find an age appropriate book on how to play the guitar.

Great
I bought it for my 9 years old sister, she needed one to learn how to play guitar in school, the tone is a little off but other than that it was a great and she loves it.
Overpriced Garbage
I was surprised when I opened it how cheaply made the guitar was. I did not expect it to make beautiful music, but I did expect it to look like it would handle kids playing with it! Which it did not. It broke when we were trying to tune it, the same day we opened it. I called Discovery Kids Customer Service and they were unhelpful. Big waste of money.
