Attractive Wood Base for home mounting. Hercules recommends mounting hanger to a wall stud for maximum stability. For non-stud, drywall mounting, please use included plastic screw anchors. Using a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the closed end of the plastic anchor, drill a hole as deep as the anchor (approximately 1.4 inches). Next, tap the anchor into the hole until flush with wall.

Perfect
Perfect product. I have 5 of them with out a single complaint. If I had to complain I would say the plastic anchors are a little sub par, but I used my own anyway. I also installed small rubber door stops behind each guitar because they are hanging in a hall way where they could get bumped into the wall. Under normal circumstances the guitar hangs plenty far enough from the wall (even a full size acoustic). Highly recommended
I highly recommend this product to anyone that has both guitars and children in the house. The guitar rests against a padded surface. It allows the guitar to be placed well out of reach of little children and with its clamp keeps it from falling it out when older kids get curious.
Having the guitar off the floor stand also makes the room much easier to clean and looks great on the wall.
Construction is sturdy and looks good in our family room. It is very easy to hang. If there is any downside to this product is that it came with a type of drywall anchor that I have seen fail in the past; if you can not attach it to a wooden stud then I recommend getting some good self drilling nylon wallboard screw anchors here is an example:Simpson Strong Tie SWN06 #6 Sure Wall Nylon Drywall Anchor 100 per Box
Great mount for guitar
This is a very secure way to store your guitar up out of the way and off the floor. Padded arms protect the guitar and the self closing tabs make it so the instrument will not slip off and also prevents my little ones from pulling it off the mount. You need to lift the guitar to open the tabs then remove it from the mount. Very ingenious. I have two and I am completely satisfied.
