Really good tone and tension
I was leery of getting EBs on my 7 due to past experiences of how long they last. After seeing some other people talk about cobalt strings lasting longer I decided to try and I'm glad I did.
When I put them on, I noticed right away the increase in clarity and output especially on the low strings. I also happen to like the "gritty" texture of the strings. I ended up needing to dial the gain back a bit and also kill some of the highs on some of my patches. I've had about a month with this set on and they finally sound like they're going to need replacement.
I'm definitely sticking with this set for some time.

Great Strings
I had been a long time D'Addario user and switched to Cobalts in the early middle of 12'...great feel, tone, longevity...these strings wear better than any other strings i have used...more resistant to dirt, they keep the new sound without having a coating on them.
