Elixir is for what ails your guitar!
The truth is that these strings are vibrant and last a long time. I have used them for years and haven't had any complaints. I do not even bother with other strings. I haven't tried the bass strings yet but when my Jazz Bass needs restringing you can be sure i will buy Elixir.
