I taught myself to play guitar at age 12 [now 59] and have owned several acoustic electrics, including Takamine , Ibanez 12, Yamaha, Ovation balladeer 12etc.. My planned upgrade from my 1979 Takamine Ec-128 $225.00 to Takamine EC-132sc ,$1200 plus ,[the instrument of choice of the spanish guitar pros on the hotel/bar circuit in the Miami area] was derailed when by accident I came across this incredible value for money beauty. Originally attracted by the physical beauty of this model, hanging on the wall amid the $199 to $350 yamahas and Ibanez's, I couldn't believe the sound that came out of this laminated wood , made in China with an Italian name copy of the big boys. A guitar has to inspire me with it's sound to want to play it and this one did that and more.Wide neck, low action without any hint of buzz ,perfect octave at the twelth fret, this is the perfect gift for the parent who wants to get their child a great instrument at a low price or even for the semi-pro homerecording...

Been playing the guitar eversince I was 10 years old. I was looking for a full-sized acoustic. Already have an expensive one, but I wanted another one to use on a daily basis.
I decided to purchase the Carlo Robelli, because of the reviews I have read here and I did some research on the internet. Before purchasing this guitar, I called customer service just to make sure this was a full sized acoustic guitar. They told me it was, so I ordered it through Amazon. Got the package on Saturday, opened the box and there it was ... a ? sized guitar. I could scream ... was very disapointed and the guitar does not look great at all as it looks on pictures and on youtube. But what do you expect for $120? Maybe I was expecting too much.
I have returned the guitar on Monday and I was charged for another $40 by UPS. Wrote a letter to Sam Ash and never got an answer back. Not even "Sorry dude!!!"

hello. i just want to leave a positive feedback for this product, cause it does deserves it. first of all,i've being playing guitar for 5 years and i own a cordoba c5 classical guitar, but i was also looking for an acoustic electric guitar,but didnt want to spend too much money , so i went to a close by store and willing to buy another c5, but electric acoustic. So i tried it, and also tried the robelli, that was next to it , and i was so shocked and impressed when i played both, the cordoba c5 priced more than $400 and this one was just $100, and to be honest with you, i think the robelli had a little more sharp, and better sound than the cordoba,and the finish and quality i think is just too good for the price, so i bought the robelli on amazon(got it cheaper than the store) and am happy with the product, sounds good , very clear sound, even with the string that it came with, and there is no buzz at all . i would recommend this product , to a beginner or and advanced or...
