The handmade C10 is one of the first all-solid guitars in the Iberia series. Along with the sweet, warm tone provided by its all-solid body, the C10 features the vintage elegance of a hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl rosette inspired by a 1920s Domingo Esteso design. Comes with a solid European spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides. Other notable features of the C10 include its black and gold tuning machines and adjustable truss rod. Comes with a Cordoba Polyfoam case.

Plays like a $2K-3K guitar
This guitar is GREAT!!! I have been playing classical for about 10 years and studied under two instructors who studied under Manuel Barrueco & Aaron Shearer. I was playing a Cordoba C5-CE but wanted to upgrade to a higher quality instrument and thus began a long and frustrating search. After playing a number of classicals at local guitar centers and sam ash stores in Cleveland, Ohio including some very expensive Ramirez and Rodriguez guitars, I was not satisfied. So i drove 4 hours to Elderly Instruments (best shop around!!!) in Lansing, Mich. Over the course of 4 hours I tested a $1,000 Alhambra 5p cutaway, a few LaPatrie's, a $1,500 Takamine, a bunch a Rodriguez models, and a few Ramirez, including an excellent condition used Ramirez going for $5,000 (probably worth 6K new). It finally came down to the Cordoba c7, solista, and C10. After playing and comparing all 4 against each other, the C10 had the best sound and playability.
The bass notes are full and loud,...

Beautiful guitar for a reasonable price, but needed set up
I had been playing classical guitar for two years when I purchased this guitar. I was looking to upgrade from my beginner Yamaha to an intermediate instrument. I also wanted solid spruce and rosewood with inlaid mother of pearl. In this price range, the Cordoba C10 is the only one that meets my criteria. It comes with a hard-sided nylon case so that's an added benefit, but it is not an air-tight case. The wood has beautiful grains and is highly polished. I have been playing it for 10 months now and thoroughly enjoy it. I actually found it easier to play than my beginner Yamaha. The spruce helps project a clear sound. Sometimes, I strum with a nylon pick, and it projects even better so a pick-up and amp wouldn't be needed. If you prefer a more mellow sound, the cedar version of this guitar might be a better choice for you.
However, I was disappointed that I had to pay for a guitar technician to set it up and file down the frets. The frets were too wide and extended beyond...
Very nice guitar
I recently purchased the Cordoba C10 spruce from Amazon. I was looking for an inexpensive spruce guitar to replace some expensive handmade guitars I sold. Originally I was looking at the C7 but I really wanted an ebony fingerboard. I tried a cedar C7 at the local GC and it was nice but they did not have it in spruce.
As far as the C10 I couldn't be more thrilled. I bought it without trying it knowing I could return it to Amazon if I didn't like it. The guitar is very well made, comfortable to play and sounds great. Everything about it is just right. Usually on a new guitar I would change the strings and adjust the action. No need here everything is perfect. I'm afraid to change the strings because it sounds so good! I'm really enjoying the guitar, like I said the sound and playability are just great. I might have to buy a cedar also, I'm sure they are nice too!
The only things holding the guitar back from looking like a very expensive instrument is the wood...
