Wouldn't live without them
Can't say enuf about these strings. I am a professional musician, work 3 plus days a week, four hours a nite, been using these strings for over five years. You either love them or hate them. They never sound as good as a true bronze string does when new..... but then they outlast a set of bronze strings 3 to one. They sound very good. Sound the same until they die...you know when they die.

Great sound
I use only Elixir strings on all my guitars. On my electric/acoustic bass, I get amazing mellow sounds and excellent sustain. Same for the electric bass. And my Gibson Hummingbird sings with Elixirs.
The big plus is that they last a LONG time. Hand oil doesn't get into the windings.
I won't buy anything else.
The BEST for ABG!
I bought my Tacoma Thunderchief ABG to play acoustically - in the living room or on the porch with another guitar player or two. These strings came stock on the bass.
I've tried a few other brands of strings over the years just for variety but I always keep coming back to these. They are by far the best for acoustic (un-amplified) tone, providing a brightness and a volume that no other string has come close to.
For me, these are the best and worth every penny!
