Lo-Rider stainless steel bass strings are roundwound and constructed on a hexagonal core. They provide more depth of tone and are a bit stiffer than Hi-Beams. tight and low!!
I like "low action" so that i dont have to play as hard to get good sound. Many other strings i have tried are just not stiff enough to keep low action along with "light gauge" strings. DR solves that with these Lo-Riders!! I get even, consistent tone across all 5 strings!! No loss of bottom end with the .120 and .100!!

Strings are TOO LONG!
I have a standard 37" long scale bass and theses strings are way too long. You'll have to wrap 1" of the string past the lead around the tuning peg. DR rep told me their strings are for 39" scale basses. I wish they would have put that bit of info on the packaging! Since the B-string is impossible to string because of its thickness these strings are unusable
