Dean Boca 12 String
I ordered the Dean Boca 12 String about two months ago, from Amazon. The packing was excellent; guitar arrived in perfect condition. I was wary about ordering a guitar "sight unseen", but all my fears were dispelled within five minutes! The fit and finish are perfect. The action and intonation was spot on. A reviewer on the "MF" website complained about the fact that the tuneomatic bridge on this guitar has only six adjustable saddles. In theory, you'd want twelve adjustable saddles, but on this guitar it does not seem to make a difference. I used my old strobe tuner and found that the difference at the 12th fret was only a fraction of cents. Not worth replacing the bridge.

holy cow
this is the best electric 12 string for twice the money that you will ever
see. stays in tune, unlike many other unnamed famous 12 strings. has an easy to deal with bridge, great tuners, juicy pick-ups, good workmanship detail and get this... it is easy to play. i can't say enough about what a great affordable instrument this is.

Jangle sound for small bucks...
Had this delivered only yesterday but after several hours of playing I'm extremely satisfied. Been playing 60's rock for years and have always lusted after a chimy Byrds/Beatles/Pretenders type sound, but since I'm not a pro and don't play out, I wasn't keen on dropping 2K for a you-know-what (not to mention waiting possibly 6 to 18 months for delivery).
Workmanship seems quite good especially for this price point. The only defect I've noticed is a missing screw from one of the pickups - otherwise I haven't found a blemish - certainly nothing like wiring sticking out of the f-holes as some reviewers on other sites have complained of. Without any additional setup besides tuning up, the intonation is perfect well past fret 12. The neck is wide and fairly chunky - I've never played a Ric but understand that their 12 string necks are quite narrow....the Dean is wide enough that it might actually be a little large for players with smaller hands.
