A very nice guitar for the money - eminently portable - play anywhere
I bought this because I got tired of waiting for Musician's Friend to get the SLG130NW model in. The main difference between it and this one (other than an extra seventy bucks) is the traditional classical width of the neck on the 130, just a bit wider than the 110. I was glad I didn't wait almost immediately - this is a nice guitar. The slightly narrower neck actually makes it a little easier to play, since my primary instruments these days (until I got this, anyway) are a Les Paul Robot and a PRS Tremonti SE.
It breaks down and fits nicely into an included padded gigbag easily capable of fitting in an airline overhead compartment. They're not kidding about the "Silent" part - unless you plug into an amp, you can barely hear it, so it would be ideal for hotels or other situations where making a lot of noise isn't feasible.

Nothing better than a silent guitar to spend the night playing while everyone is sleeping. This guitar is so versatile I wish I had discover it many years ago. Let me start by saying this guitar is as good for practice as it is great for real performances. I've tried both with great results. Plus I always get nice comments about how good she looks.
I plug in my earphones and my music player to the auxiliar side which creates a very vivid virtual experience of jamming with my favorite bands. I found my playing has improved notoriously since I started doing that. But this is also a great guitar for real life jams or for being on the stage. Plug it into your favorite amp and you are all set. Beautiful sound, great bass tones and several special efects like reverb and echo to embellish your playing.
The upper part is detachable so this makes a great traveling guitar as well. You can play it with a power cord or with a 9 volt battery. I highly recommend it. Good job...
