New and improved for 2011. The CD-60 dreadnought boasts features you’d expect on much more expensive instruments, with a spruce top and choice of natural, sunburst and black finishes. Upgrades include a new black pickguard and mother-of-pearl acrylic rosette design, new compensated bridge design, white bridge pins with black dots and smaller (3 mm) dot fingerboard inlays. Features include scalloped X bracing, black body binding, 20-fret fingerboard, dual-action truss rod and die-cast tuners. Hard-shell case included.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Great Deal For The Price
First off, you are getting what you pay for here. The guitar is solidly built and very attractive in terms of looks. The sound is rich and deep, but the action sits a little bit high which makes it tougher in terms of nailing the chords. I have had this guitar for about 6 months now and am pleased with it. I would recommend light strings as they seem to work very well for me. Replace the strings that come with it right away as they do not seem to be comparable to Martin SP type strings. The hard case that comes with the axe is also of very good quality and almost worth the price in itself. Again, great buy for the price.

Guitar Newbie
I figured I'd review this even though I'm not experienced with the guitar, because I based this purchase off of other listings for the same make/model guitar (different packaging I guess) and their ratings. I've only been playing for a couple of weeks (man my fingers are sore) but I love it. It's beautiful (I'm shallow) and my ear isn't trained yet but it seems to sound nice if I play quiet or loud. I got another guitar at the same time for my son (a little 3/4 guitar, he's nine) and mine stays tuned way longer than his.
The other reviews said this guitar Fender CD-60 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Sunburst was very good for the price, and that a beginner would take a long time to outgrow it, if ever. There was also mention that it is very durable. There was also mention that the tones are bright, not sure what that means, but perhaps keep that in mind when you choose strings? Mostly I just wanted to...
