my mind is changed
I recently posted a review that was not so flattering and I'm changing my stance. After posting my review, I was contacted by someone in the company and a swift resolution was reached. I returned the defective unit for a new one and it couldn't have been easier. Kudos!!

String Master Tunermatic
Mostly a fun Christmas gift for guitar loving family members. Ordered 3 of them. One of them came with no instructions or information (plastic container was probably previously raided by the seller. Not good!). Product works for electric guitars only. Seems to work but would not recommend other than as a novelty.
Multiple defective units
I am now returning my second one of these tuners. First one would not accept the instrument cord (kept just falling out), so I returned it and ordered a replacement. Same problem with the second. I use top-notch Monster cable so it not a cable issue. These tuners have good reviews so I'm not sure if they are having quality control issues. All I will say, is DO NOT purchase this item. having to pluck the string while at the same time holding the unit on the peg and somehow using your third hand to hold the cable in just doesn't work.
