12-year old daughter happy
The pink color of this guitar rocks. It is not overwhelming, and has subtle sparkles in it. The color alone made my 12-year-old budding guitarist happy. She also liked the top three nylon classical strings which are easier on the fingers than the metal ones of a regular acoustic.

For me the guitar was good quality. The strings arrive quite relaxed, so an immediate tuning is required. In the first few days frequent tuning was required as the strings stretched out, but this is normal. I recommend one of the small round "Snark" digital tuners. You just attach it to the end of the guitar and it feels the vibrations and gives a clear digital readout of the note you are on. It makes tuning a breeze!

My daughter said the smaller 3/4 size was easier to play than the full size she had borrowed, easier to reach and faster to change chords. If you are looking for a great starter guitar this one has the right price, quality, and color.
