The Godin EPM Quantum acoustic guitar system is simple in design and outstanding in performance. This single source system features an exceptionally responsive saddle transducer carefully matched to side mount electronics with rotary volume, bass, and treble controls. The electronics and controls are packaged in a small and easy to use format complemented with a finely crafted pewter cover plate. In combination with the transducer, the EQ control range and frequency content have been specifically contoured to provide a very rich and full sound reproduction resulting in performance seen only in far more complex systems.The Godin Q1 also includes a built-in high quality digital chromatic tuner with LED display.
Operating Suggestions
Before plugging in for the first time, adjust Quantum volume to minimum (fully counterclockwise) and set bass and treble at midrange. Plug into endpin jack and amplifier. Increase volume slowly to desired level. Adjust bass and treble to desired level.

Beautiful
This guitar is amazing, I'm coming in to the acoustic realm with about a year and half of electric only experience. I was looking at the non-electronic version of this but I figured I was going to install one down the line anyway so I opted for this, QI option.
Pros:
Sounds mellow, but warm. I had previously ordered a Yamaha FG730, but it was way too bright and "cheery". This guitar has that perfect soft but strong tone you would want for leaving people in tears after finishing an acoustic solo.
The looks - sure, it is artificial but you're going to be in front of people so it helps. The wild cherry back and sides are outstanding, when I first opened the package I just sat and stared at the grain.
Setup - typically you always setup a new guitar, adjusting the truss rod, maybe sanding the saddle a bit.. but this guitar actually arrived in tune! The action is set, at what I call medium height - coming from an electric background, which is...

SEAGULL S6 ORIGINAL QI GUITAR
This guitar is an excel[ant value, the best guitar for the money out there (and I've done a LOT of research!) and a finger pickers delight! Action was great right out of the box and sounds like a much more expensive instrument. Bluegrass flatpickers and heavy strummers may want to look at SPRUCE top Seagulls. Cedar tops, like this one, respond best to finger-style picking and lighter to average strumming.
My only complaint was the packaging for shipping, Mine, from Amazon BTW, was lightly damaged in shipping due to being packed very lightly. Damage was cosmetic only, the guitar sounded wonderful, so I didn't return it. Guitar sounds great played acoustically and through an amp (I use a Fishman Artist amp). Would buy again if something happened to this one, I recommend Seagull to everyone.
Seagull S6 Q1 guitar review
I received my new Seagull on the predicted day and could barely wait to get home to see her! The packaging did look a little sparse, as some others have reported, but the box was intact, and not damaged at all. After opening the box and removing the foam wrapping , all I could do was just grin from ear to ear while my wife took a picture of the two of us, (the guitar and I). I carefully inspected from one end to the other and couldn't find a single blemish. The fit and finish on this fine instument is beyond belief. I am just a beginning guitarist, but playing my new Seagull is so much easier than the old guitar I had, that I know I will improve much more quickly now.
I hardly see how anyone could go wrong with a Seagull. I have tried out and played guitars costing up to thousands of dollars, and none of them sounded any better to me than what I now own. Perhaps to an advanced guitarist, there may be a discernable difference, but at my level, I am perfectly satisfied...
