Studio quality and very well made
45 yrs. old. 30+ yrs in the game. This guitar is very well made and nicely appointed. The neck is fast for an extended range guitar. The finish is excellent, binding and inlays are perfect. Good access to the upper frets. This guitar is surprisingly easy to play considering it's size. (he's a little heavy) When compared to the ESP, and Agile, the Schecter is just a better fit. This is due largely to it's diversity. The Agile is super nice and plays very well, but had a narrower tonal range. The ESP was OK too, but not my cup of tea. The only reason I gave this unit 4 stars is the pick-up's. A bit too hot. Like actives maxed out. I need a Rocktron Hush unit just to quell the noise. On another note, this guitar has amazing sustain. So much so, in fact, that I have to dampen the strings just under the nut. The resonance bleeds through to the other strings and causes them to resonate sympathetically, but not complimentary. A silicon fishing worm works great. If I were to buy another, I...
