Awesome Value
I've been playing (or trying to play) the guitar for 18 years now. I live in an austere environment for half the year and didn't want to bring any of my nicer guitars to such a dry and unforgiving climate. Amazon shipped it to an APO address and I received it in Afghanistan within 7 days.
$99 is a great value for the guitar, case (which you can wear like a backpack), extra strings, strap, and picks. I ordered some Fender Strap Buttons (off Amazon for $4.99) so I could attach the strap to the back, underside of the neck where it meets the body.
The only problem with the guitar was that it wasn't set up properly. I had to make a few adjustments (after watching a youtube tutorial) on how to get rid of the string buzz on the high e and b strings on the first and second frets. Now that I have it set up properly, the guitar plays as good as any of the low-end name brands such as yamaha, fender, and martin.

Great Guitar

The sound is great and the guitar was in good condition when received

After a lot of research and pondering, I decided to go with the Jasmine by Takamine. I am very pleased with this purchase! My daughter has a desire to learn guitar and I saw a lot of good comments on this particular one. The guitar itself has very nice action, which is good for small hands/little fingers. The bag is "ok" quality, but for $100 kit, I can't complain!
Several others noted that there were pieces and parts missing. This particular kit said it came with a guitar strap. That was missing... I contacted Amazon support (Chat) and after explaining my problem, they said to ship it all back and they'll ship out a replacement. Well, I said that is silly because nothing is defective, I'm just missing a strap. Without further hesitation, they gave me a %20 refund on my purchase, which I them promptly turned around and bought a strap on Amazon! Now that is customer service!
