I recently acquired a low priced (less than $200) 12 string acoustic. These strings make it sing. It literally sounds sweeter than my brother-in-law's Taylor! I use only Elixirs.

Elixir 11150 12 string
Fairly nice strings. Just not as bright sounding as I had hoped for. Put on a Yamaha guitar. Will buy something else next time but these will do for now.
Best Acoustic Strings, Bar None.
I use Elixirs exclusively on all of my acoustics. I prefer the Polyweb coating, as it minimizes string squeak. These strings last FOREVER, which is great if you aren't playing the guitar very often. I would burn through a regular set of 80/20 bronze strings in a month or so, but I can get 4 good months with the Elixirs, and likely more if the guitar is seeing less action. I think I had a set on one guitar for almost a year!
