D'Addario Chromes Flatwound Bass strings are famed for their smooth feel and warm, mellow tone. Unique and long lasting flatwounds.
These super light flatwounds are easy on the fingers, fits through my badass II bridge, and the tone is interestingly bright for flatwounds. Even after a year of heavy playing, they still retained a distinct upper mid range punch. After a year and 6 months of heavy playing, they finally started losing their intonation. Flatwound warmth and bloom with enough kerrang to sit in the mix nicely. A minimal investment for great tone and string life.
