The Best Strings...
Simply put, these are the best strings at the lowest price. I've been playing electric bass for over 35 years and these are the brand I always come back to. I've tried Dr. Bass, Rotosounds, Fender, Markleys, etc. with no noticeable difference or improvement. D'Addarios sound great and last a long time. You can usually find them in multi-packs and/or on sale so it doesn't hurt to change them more often. This is one example where use don't get what you pay for, your get more! They come in many different lengths and gauges, so make sure you buy the correct set for your instrument. If you select a different gauge, don't forget that you may have to make adjustments to the intonation, string height, and/or neck relief on your bass or guitar.

Great Sound and Longevity.
I've been using D'Addario strings for ages. Both on my basses, and my guitars.

These bass strings are comfortable enough to play, even on the longer 3 hour+ gigs. They sound nice and bright. But the main thing is they last a long time. They retain their tuning and sound for ages which is good news for the struggling muso. Plus, who wants to keep changing their strings all the time? Not me! I don't have a guitar tech like the stars do. Or the money!

I have tried many different brands over the years but always come back to
DÁddario for their great performance and longevity.

Best Bang for the Buck!
How can these be selling for $11.50 and free shipping? I've used quite a few brands, and most sets of roundwounds are $20.00+.
Okay, so the price is great, but the sound on these is equally good. Nice punchy high end, big wide low end.
They don't die fast, I've never had a dud string or set and they play very nicely.
Basically these strings will give you best value to quality ratio you can find. Period.
Buy a set. Buy two.
At this price, buy ten if you go through a lot of sets.

I'm gonna keep using these. They suit my needs at a very cool price. 5 stars.

LOVE this 12 string
This is my third or forth 12 string and I am very impressed (the others were Yamaha and Ibenez). The solid top and maple back and sides create a sweet tone and when plugged in it rocked my world. I'm not going to suggest that it will beat a Taylor or Gibson or any other high end guitar but when you consider it is about one fifth to one tenth of the price, well...nuf said. Still it has great tone and the action makes you think you're playing a six string. The neck is a little narrower than a standard 12 string, but it's not a problem for me and I have big fat ogre fingers. You get so much more than your moneys worth. I'm thinking about selling my Ovation Legend so I can make room for the six string Luna Muse.

I love my Luna!
My Luna Muse 12-string acoustic/electric guitar arrived today. I've never ordered anything like this sight unseen and was nervous that it wouldn't live up my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. The guitar itself is absolutely gorgeous. Because I have small hands I had done my research on what guitars had small-hand-friendly necks. Luna lives up to it's reviews. The action is great and I don't think I'll ever get tired of looking at it or playing it. Very happy!

Gives your bottom end a good kick in the butt
I saw these strings at the local music store. I thought it was so cool that The Misfits had their own strings. I put them on my BC Rich Warlock Bass, dropped tuned them to D, and played through my Crate Amp. I played 138, Last Caress, Forbidden Zone, and was very pleased. The strings have a great feel and give you that chunky feel you need for punk or thrash. Highly recommended strings

Wow
The Misfits are one of my favorite bands. So I bought Jerry Only's bass strings at my local guitar shop. The next day my A string broke. They are terrible. Do not buy these. They are the worst strings ever.
These are great
i bought these for my squier mb-4 skull and crossbones bass

and i can play anything, like metal or punk, even primus

It was the first bass I'd pick up at the store and it was just too good a deal to let anyone else grab!

;lightweight, wide variety of tone, neck is very thin and very easy to play. havent got a cramp yet.

the tone expressor knob makes an impressive punchy sound.
in the off position, it produces a very dry dark sound,.

only flaw so far is with the tone knob - when you go full treble there is alot of noise(hissing)

i find if you turn it back a slight bit its clears out the unwanted hiss.

OVERALL : give this company your money and be happy.
excellent bass for the price, very versatile!
4/5 due to treble hiss

For the price? Can't beat it!!
I was looking for a guitar to travel with. I had known for years about the Martin Backpacker series and was interested, but I was curious if there was anything else out there. I started researching and came across several brands. They are easy enough to search out right here on Amazon. Just search for "travel guitar". Right away, I liked the Washburn package just for all the stuff it includes for the price. Way cool. But, I was not convinced yet, even though I have an old "full size" Washburn in my arsenal at home. I started searching the net for reviews and opinions. Of course, I checked out the various reviews here on Amazon as well. I decided to go ahead and get the Black Rover. It came in yesterday. I was already in the middle of a practice with my old Guild so I was in the mood. Opened it up and immediately, the infamous "smell" filled the room. No prob. Pulled out all the "straps" and put them out on the porch. Smell all gone. The neck was out a bit. Made a quick adjustment...

I'm buying one for everyone in my family.
The guitar is made in China and yes it has a very strong plastic semll that lingers in the case from manufacturing. But that is not going to stop me from buying one for every one in my family. My grandma is going to get one and she doesn't even play guitar. I had bought this for taking camping and travelling, and it has since taken over as my primary guitar. I agree that the strings should be replaced, but the stock ones are fine in my opinion. The guitar comes in a nice box which has outdoor activities plastered all over it, none of which have a picture of the guitar in them. Included with case are straps (one for guitar and one for the case), a learn to play guitar DVD(I gave it away), multiple soft picks, and an adjustment kit. My dad is a seasoned guitarist and once he picked this up he could not put it down. Great guitar and worth every penny.
Great product, funky smell
For the price, you can't beat this small, lightweight, good sounding travel guitar. It takes a few minutes to get used to the odd proportions (hint - use the strap always) but sure beats lugging a full size guitar all over the world. As other reviewers have noted, the case and strap have a funky odor. I left the open case on the front porch for an entire day and it didn't help. I left the strap hanging on the back porch for days prior to my trip - didn't help. Best suggestion is to leave the case shut whenever possible. Otherwise your hotel room or tent will smell funnny.

Great guitar
I didn't buy this guitar on Amazon but I am very impressed with it. My first impression was it didn't have a good sound, but then I changed the stock strings out with D'addario's and wow! Such a difference. It has a beautiful clear yet blended tone and is very fun to play. Just change the strings first.
